As a 4th grade teacher I always dreaded when we reached the fraction unit in our math book. I’ve taught for 25 years and in the past we taught fractions using a pizza. Many students struggled especially when it came time to measure using a ruler. When common core math came about and we began teaching using a number line, it was still difficult instructing the students on recognizing fractions. That was until I introduced the EZ Measurement Trainer and the difference was unbelievable.
